We share a multifaceted ministry designed to meet the "Whole Need of the Whole Person." Bishop Eddie Jernagin has pastored Christ is the Answer Church since 1973. 

The C.I.T.A. ministry was founded in 1963, by the late brother Theodore Byrd. From this beginning was birthed four other C.I.T.A Churches in Kansas City, MO., Houston, TX.,  Annapolis, MD., and Birmingham, ALA .

The Church believes in ministering to the "whole need of the total person."  With this "whole needs" concept in mind the ministry has initiated programs over the years such as the C.I.T.A. problem Clinic (counseling ministry), Food & clothing outreach to the needy, C.I.T.A. bookstore, Radio & Television outreach, job placement service, prayer ministry and a host of other positive ministries designed to meet the demanding needs of humanity. 

The Church continues to serve as an effective outreach ministry to the local community and world at large!

The C.I.T.A. Ministry has always practiced consistent devotion in prayer communion.

Christ is the Answer prayer connection (partners in prayer for positive change) is a powerful prayer ministry consisting of a cross section of non denomination.There is something very powerful about serious people working together, especially if God is involved in the plan.

Christ is the Answer Prayer Connection is about serious people who believe that prayer can make a positive difference in mending shattered lives and changing terrible conditions which exist among us in the world at large.

In examining the work of God one can see many miraculous events in which the act of prayer played an important/major roll. We are told by Christ who consistently practiced the act of prayer "That men should always pray and not to faint". (Luke18:1) This wise admonishment when practiced by believers in faith touch the very heart of God's sensitivity towards the petitions of prayerful seekers!

I firmly believe in the power of prayer and have witnessed the positive effects it has had on the lives of people. It was through faith, prayer and praise that the hungry mouths of lions were unable to consume believers/ and their lives were subsustained.

Christ is the Answer Prayer Connection Partners gather on the 4th Saturday of each month for an "Hour of Power" in corporate prayer from 9:00am to 10:00am. Your personal presence in joining with me (Bishop Eddie Jernagin) and other believers in prayer each 4th Saturday would help to strengthen the bond of our united prayer focus!
